The Victor (Updated)
I am reposting this because I finally got footage of one of my favorite Victor scenes where Jesus forgives the woman caught in adultery. Janelle (Beaver) Safrit does such a great job.
"The Victor" is an Easter drama that our church has performed for several years. We have extended and modified it to suit our situation and it has become a very effective ministry for our church. I'm guessing here, but I would say that approximately 1700 to 1800 people see it over 4 nights and our Sunday morning attendance runs 250 to 275.
Here are several scenes as performed March 21, 2008. If you click through on the link you will see the video directly on the Godtube Site in a larger format.

Only in the South??
Is it true that only in the South, can "Junior" be a given name? This obituary today takes that to a new level. See "Junior" as the given name of a "senior."MOCKSVILLE - Ray Junior "Bugs" Brawley, Sr., age 76, of 619 Boxwood Church Road, Mocksville, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at his residence.

Chandler (8) the "reporter" came to complain that while he was trying to build Legos, Gabrielle (5.8) was bothering him in that she was trying to "sketch" or "draw" him as he worked.
Later it came out that she was also badgering him to go comb his hair for the session.

Terri, Ed and I have a dear friend that we worked with for many years who just had a birthday so we took her to lunch.
Ed happened to be sitting on the aisle so he got the other sombrero.
Apparently a custom at the mexican restaurant when they sing Happy Birthday to you.

This is a practice for our church Easter Drama, "the Victor." Gabrielle play's Jarius' daughter, and Bob Brush is great as a healed lame man.

You may know how much I love the genius satire of Scrappleface.com. He has done a parody of Hilary's "Ringing" ad that is hilarious.
Here is Hilary's Ad first...
Then the Satire...
